Even in the age of online booking, travel agents can be a great source of information and value added assistance. A travel agent can make sure that your trip is tailored to you, assist you in case of unexpected problems, and help you anticipate potential issues in advance.

MD Vacations is registered with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), an organization mandated by the Ontario government to administer the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002. TICO governs Ontario-based travel agencies, all of which must be registered with TICO. TICO administers an industry-financed Travel Compensation Fund.

What is the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF)?  The Travel Compensation Fund may provide reimbursement of monies paid to an Ontario registered travel agency for travel services that are not provided due to the insolvency of the agency, or end supplier airline or cruise line. You do not need to be a resident of Ontario. 

Our fees are transparent. We can work within your budget, and we always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for our fees. 

Yes! While we specialize in creating group packages for CBT Canada vacation CME destinations, we can work with you to plan and book travel for yourself, you and your family and/or group. We handle the details and ensure that you have access to group seating, entrances, and discounts. 

•  If I am booking a CBT Canada medical CBT workshop, am I required to book my (and any other travel companions) travel with MD Vacations?  Yes, in order to minimize many of the foreseen logistical challenges (e.g., group dining reservations, group amenities) and provide a more seamless experience for you and your travel companions, we require that travel be booked through MD Vacations. We strive to provide you and your guests with the best possible experience.  
• Do CME hours interfere with destination activities? We understand our participants’ desire to balance learning with rest & rejuvenation; spending time with family/friends and/or exploring new or interesting locales. Our staff are experienced in the subtleties of scheduling CME to minimize interference with vacation activities. Rest assured that on our cruises we avoid port days, and that at our ski destinations, the CME is scheduled for the mornings and late afternoons. 

Yes! Our agents will handle the time-consuming process of comparing airlines, routes, and prices, freeing you from research and decision fatigue. We will also help should your flight need to be cancelled/rebooked. There is a $75 fee for any flights booked by our agents.
